squashed (almost-wordless wednesday)

These showed up in my office last week. Look to the left, tucked into the corner.

It’s a pair of fairly senior zucchini that someone has dolled up.

I swear I’m not behind this–The slugs ate all my squash seedlings this year. But it looks like someone else has a garden with way more zucchini than they could possibly use…

  1. That is hilarious! It’s amazing how those zucchini hide when they’re small and tender and delectable, and somehow by the time you discover them they are the size of baseball bats. This is definitely a creative solution. 🙂

  2. Is he wearing a life preserver on his, um, head?

And now I want a pink bubble wrap skirt, too. Mrs Potatohead looks frumpy by comparison.
